I'm terrible at haggling in English, let alone French! Did you get a good deal? And was it for something respectable?? ;-)
It's my friend doing the haggling in English for Eiffel Tower light-up trinkets. Chotchkes. Whenever a gendarme appears, these guys disappear. It's rather comical.
