"Ron Chernow's Washington biography has 904 pages and a $40 price tag. At a signing at a Manhattan Barnes & Noble, PW (Publishers Weekly) reported, a customer 'bought some 10-plus-copies--to hand out to participants in an upcoming pheasant hunt."
