Kids do the strangest things these days. I'm picturing a wedding full of nerd glasses with tape on the bridge... (google knows just what I mean if I look for "taped glasses")

What's your picture supposed to be? (it's broken for me) Google has an eclectic selection of pictures if you search for "bad writing", including Snoopy typing "It was a dark and stormy night." Which I've never quite understood -- what's so bad about that? Is it supposed to be that a "dark night" is laughably redundant? Because for me the moon refutes that...

Bonjour Madame!

Hey, you're back @ 'da blog!' How did I miss this? I was going to drop you an e-mail but have - of course - misplaced your address. Ah well, c'est la vie, right?

Nice pics of France, by the way. I'd like to return there alone without having friends with me who speak no French and cling to me for dear life, afraid the locals will harm them.

FYI, I've been roped into substitute-teaching FRENCH @ the high school in Plaistow! Seems no matter how much I've forgotten, I still know more than the little weasels.

I'm still trying to get to Germany, but it's an uphill battle. Am supposed to leave next week, but now it's going to be in December.

Hope all is otherwise well avec toi. Get in touch sometime! - E.

Uh oh, sm, the pic is my usual "fractured" Picasso one. I like to use it for continuity, HAHAHA. I think the "dark and stormy night" is meant to seem trite and overused, etc. Dunno for sure, though.

Eileen, go get 'em in the French Dept. so glad you are well and headed for Europe. I wish I was. I'm only blogging now and then these days.

Kay, hi! Thanks for stopping--hope RedHeaded Woman is sailing along and you are too.
